They’re amazing! (But of course we would say that…)
Unless you’re a lawyer, it can be really hard to judge the quality of a legal document. You may even ask yourself, does it really matter – aren’t they all the same?
We could write all day about the importance of using quality documents, but the reality is you will only know how good your document is when it gets tested in court, or when you need to pay more money in the future to have it updated to an appropriate standard.
So how do you tell?
A good place to start is by looking at the law firm’s website to see the quality of their other content. Do they have a lot of information available, that is practical and insightful? It is obvious that they know what they are talking about? If so, then chances are, their documents are going to reflect that same experience and quality. Another indication of a good document is the qualifications and experience of the team who have drafted the document. Can they demonstrate a breadth of legal and real world experience? Are they highly educated, and hold well recognised professional qualifications and endorsements? Are their existing clients and document users happy to endorse them? Finally, when you read the document, does it make sense to you? You may not understand all of the intricacies of the document – and sometimes it is necessary for lawyers to use complicated language – but you should be able to get a good feel for what the document is doing.
All of the documents available from Andreyev Online have been drafted, and are kept up to date by the friendly (and well qualified!) team at Andreyev Lawyers.
